Funeral Rites For Freeman Lyons
Freeman M. Lyons, expired Sunday, June 23rd at 3:30 p. m. at his home in Berlin. The decease d, a
son of Mr. and Mrs. Israel Lyons was born in Somerset County, February 7, 1877.
Surviving are his widow, Etta ‎( [Trimpey-this is her second marriage]‎ Phillippi) Lyons , two sons,
Vernon and Ralph, both of Berlin, one daughter, Mrs. A. J. Crete, Farnumville, Mass.; one bro ther,
Edward Lyons of Berlin and five sisters - Mrs. Mary Davis, in California; Mrs. Fred Mathias,
Scottdale; Mrs. Roy Dayton, Republic; Mrs. Harry Ruble, Alexandria, and Mrs. Lillian Turner,
Wheeling, W. Va.
Mr Lyons was a member of the Berlin Methodist church.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday afternoon at two o'clock in the Walter A. John son
Funeral Home at Berlin, Pa., with the Rev. Paul Trimpey officiating. Interment in Barron's C hurch
Cemetery, Middlecreek Township.
