All of that information that I have, came from the probate papers that I have on Annie Brougher. That's how I came to find out her maiden name was Trimpey. There was a huge battle over her estate because she had no children so all the Trimpey family was fighting in court over her estate and theyhad to draw up a mini-family tree for the court records. Estate #26 of 1893
Dr. for Annie: H. D. Moore
Letters indicate that Annie built a house on her son-in-law's land (Wesley K Baker) He testified that she paid for the material, and he built it. She lived there 14 years. She died intestate, and Wesley began settling the estate. Wesley's wife, Annie's niece, had died, and he had remarried, but had five minor children who were Trimpey heirs.
John S Trimpey, nephew of Annie, alleged that by law, a relative should first be chosen to administer the estate, if available, and petitioned the court, along with his brother Ephriam to do so.
Counter allegations were made by Wesley Baker that John S Trimpey paid no attention to her needs, and that her nephew Ephriam had visited only once during her illness.
