Aug. 7, 1850 Declaration of Intent to become a citizen, Somerset Co., PAVol 1, p. 218 Frederick Trimpe, A native of Germany, came into court at August Term1850 and on his solemn oath declared that it was his "bonafide" intention to become a citizen of the United States and to renounce all allegianceto any foreign power or potentate and particularly towards the Assande duke of Allenburg, Germany
Estate 1892 # 71 I Frederick Trimpey of Middlecreek Township, Somerset County, State of Pennsylvania, being of sound mind, memory and understanding, do make and publish this my last will and testament hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time made heretofor, and first I direct that my body be decently interred and that my funeral be conducted in a manner corresponding with my estate and situation in life and to such estate as it hath pleased God to intrust me with, I dispose of the same as follows: viz: I give and bequeath to by beloved wife Catherine all my personal estate for her use so long as she lives and after her death the same to be disposed of by my executors herein after named and the proceeds divided equally among my children. And I hereby constitute and appoint my sons John S Trimpey and Ephriam Trimpey executors of this my last will and testament and I do hereby authorize and empower my said executors or the survivors of them to sign seal execute and acknowlege all such deed or deeds of conveyance as may be requesite and necessary for the execution and fulfillment of an agreement with my son-in-law Wesley K Baker. In witness whereof I Frederick Trimpey the testator have to this my will written on one sheet of paper set my hand and seal this third day of Septmber 1885. Frederick Trimpe (seal)
