Obituary, Somerset Herald, March 28, 1894 Deitrich Trimpey, a diminutive German of Middle Creek Twp., whose striking personality was familiar to people having business before the courts of this [Somerset, PA] county during the past several decades, died on the 17th inst. He lived all alone and it is not known at what hour the dread summons came to him. He was found by some of his neighbors sitting in a rocking chair, still in death. He was probably 73 years of age."
