Martha E. Nair, 87, of Siemon Lakeview Manor Estate, formerly of Edie, died Feb. 24, 2002 at the manor. Born March 18, 1914 in Lincoln Township. Daughter of Lewis and Elizabeth ‎(Trimpey)‎ Nair. Preceded in death by parents, brothers Elmer, Harry, Charles, Ross, Norman, and John, and sister Elsie Walker and an infant sister. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews. She was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Lifetime member of Sipesville Church of the Brethren. Martha lived and worked on her family farm near Edie for most of her life. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Hoffman Funeral Home, Allegheny Street, Boswell. Viewing also from 10 a.m. until time of service at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Sipesville Church of the Brethren. Rev. Danny R. Bailey officiating. Interment, Sipesville Cemetery.
